Avani Bansal is an Advocate in the Supreme Court of India and runs a series to explain the Indian Constitution ‘Hamara Samvidhaan’ in Hindi through video format on ‘The Wire’. Avani is an alumni of University of Oxford and Harvard Law School and an author of ‘Life At Law School’. She also runs her Youtube channel ‘Hamara Kanoon’ to spread legal awareness and is a Tedx Speaker, and writer of several articles in leading newspapers and digital platforms.

It hopes to create space for women issues in the media which are oft neglected and mostly negative. For our boys and girls to grow up in a world where everyone has equal opportunity irrespective of gender, it is important to create this space for women issues and women stories, to offset the patriarchal tilt in our mainstream media and society.
