Because when they talk about love, they talk about partners and children,
they talk about lovers and parents.
What they don’t talk about is Sisters.
No, not just the blood sisters,
but sisters away from Home.
Sisters who treat you like one.
Sisters who feel like home.
Sisters who scold like an angry father
but love like a compassionate mother.
Sisters who love you when you don’t love yourself.
Sisters who let you take the center stage when they are behind all the action.
That is the thing about sisters.
They give all while you don’t even give them the name of Love.
So, the next time they talk about love, make sure they talk about sisters.
