Fearless, Forthright and Fierce, best depict the qualities of women who actively participated in India’s Freedom struggle. Much is spoken and written about men who fought for India’s freedom but little is spoken about the role of women in the freedom movement. At a time when orthodoxy and patriarchy were at it’s peak, these brave women took it upon themselves to proactively and earnestly put up a brave fight against the Colonial rule of the British.
